Revision

REVISION TOP TIPS
I have quite strong opinions on this. Here we go, and this is for any subject:
- Small bursts – Revise in small easily digestible bursts. It’s different for everyone but 10-15 minutes is enough for most – certainly me. After that you will lose concentration whether you think so or not.
- Jump to the heart – Get underneath the skin of the revision sheet and its content. If you’re smart, you’ll go right to the heart of what you need to know.
- Talk – Ask if you’re not sure. They don’t bite.
- Doing is learning – Revision is a written exercise. Whether it’s a spider diagram / mind map, rough notes, lists or diagrams just doesn’t matter – again, everyone is different, do it your way. Reading is vital – in small doses, but staring at a book thinking you’re reading is just plain dull.
- Be Interactive – use fun stuff – there is plenty on this site and you can find your own.
